Minimum space requirement for your EFOY Fuel Cell

Lots of power in a small space.

Weighing just 6 to 7.8 kg (depending on the model) and 27.5 cm high, the EFOY Fuel Cell is a real space saver. Thanks to its compact design, the EFOY can be installed anywhere to save space. Thanks to the small dimensions of the fuel cell and its low weight, there is always a suitable place for it. Where the trim of the boat or vehicle can become a problem with heavy equipment, the small fuel cell is hardly noticeable.

Fully automatic and maintenance-free battery charging

The EFOY Fuel Cell recharges your battery fully automatically and is maintenance-free. It switches on automatically when the battery needs recharging and switches off again as soon as it is full. You only have to change the methanol fuel cartridge when it is empty. Unscrew, screw on, done! Your EFOY Fuel Cell can also be easily controlled via app and hybrid charging is no problem for the smart fuel cell!

Environmentally friendly and quiet power generation

The EFOY Fuel Cell produces particularly quiet electricity and is just as loud as the fan of a laptop. Noise pollution from loud diesel generators is a thing of the past. Incidentally, diesel or gasoline generators are prohibited on many campsites. Not so with the quiet power generator from EFOY! This type of power generation is also particularly environmentally friendly: the EFOY Fuel Cell only emits very small amounts of CO² during operation. The amount corresponds approximately to the CO² content of breath when speaking and is contained in the water vapor. Waste heat and water vapor are naturally environmentally friendly emission products when generating electricity with the methanol fuel cell.

Weather-independent power generation thanks to fuel cells

No more sweating in the sun, from now on you can stand in the shade. Even in bad weather, at night or in winter – the EFOY Fuel Cell always produces electricity, unlike solar panels or wind generators. You can of course combine your solar panel and the EFOY Fuel Cell. The EFOY’s smart control system ensures that it only switches on as a backup power generator when needed. This is the pure efficiency of your EFOY Fuel Cell.

Completely worry-free!

The EFOY recharges your battery fully automatically and requires no maintenance to do so. It switches on when the battery needs recharging and switches off again when the battery is full, you only have to change the fuel cartridge when it’s empty.

EFOY fuel cartridges – methanol as a fuel

EFOY Fuel Cells require our EFOY fuel cartridges to generate electricity. The cartridges contain high-purity methanol* and are a safety-tested system specially developed for EFOY Fuel Cells. You can easily replace the EFOY fuel cartridge in a matter of seconds. The special safety cap protects you from contact with the methanol. Simply unscrew the empty canister, screw on the new one and your EFOY power generator can once again generate clean and efficient power.

EFOY Hybrid Power is a perfectly matched energy package consisting of EFOY Fuel Cells as power generators and EFOY lithium batteries as power storage. The smart Battery Management System (BMS) of the EFOY Lithium Battery ensures intelligent communication between the fuel cell and battery.

Where is the EFOY Fuel Cell installed?

There is always a place for the EFOY Fuel Cell. Thanks to its compact design, it takes up little space and is also very light. Smart operation of the fuel cell

How to control the EFOY

You can easily control the EFOY Fuel Cell with the EFOY app via your smartphone or tablet. All you have to do is plug the BT2 Bluetooth adapter into the EFOY. In the app, you can see all the information about your fuel cell and battery at a glance. For example, monitor the fill level of your methanol fuel cartridge or the daily consumption of the fuel cell. Simply download the EFOY app from the App Store.

Combining smart EFOY Fuel Cells with solar

Of course, our EFOY Fuel Cell also works together with other power generators, e.g. in combination with solar modules, they only switch on when the modules can no longer supply enough power due to bad weather (e.g. snow, cloudy skies, standing in the shade, etc.). As soon as the solar modules supply sufficient charging current again, the EFOY switches off automatically. This efficiency of the mobile methanol fuel cell saves methanol and therefore money.
